We're in the desert now.

Some wildly thorny and soft yellow flower-laden shrub called black brush.
Wetlands at Falcon State Park.
We do a lot of this.
Beep-beep!
Immature Gray Hawk.
Pyrrhuloxia.
A nest in the thorns.
An awesome desert landscape at Falcon State Park.
Along the Rio Grande.

Hi Brian,

Your Mother sent us your Blog site to enjoy & get to know you better. Our Mothers are cousins by the way! We have recently reconnected.
You have some great bird & nature photos! What a variety of birds to be introduced to like the Kisdadee & Whooping crane.

Chat more later,

I am so sorry about your loss. She was truly a beautiful girl and her life was cut too short. I don't know if there is an afterlife or not, but she seems to be the type of girl who would earn her wings quickly.
My condolences.
